1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern the use of this website and the purchase of live online Spanish lessons provided under the trade name Spanish by Jazmin, operated from Mexico.

By accessing this website, booking a lesson, or making a payment, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.

2. Nature of Services

Spanish by Jazmin provides private, live, one-on-one Spanish language instruction conducted online.

Services are educational only and do not constitute:

• Academic certification

• Legal advice

• Immigration advice

• Professional accreditation

3. Global Services Disclaimer

Services are offered worldwide.

The client is solely responsible for ensuring that participation in online lessons complies with the laws of their country of residence.

4. Payment Terms

• Full payment is required before each lesson.

• A lesson is not confirmed until payment is received.

• All payments are final and non-refundable.

• The client is responsible for currency exchange fees and international transaction charges.

Failure to complete payment results in automatic cancellation.

5. Strict No Refund Policy

All payments made to Spanish by Jazmin are final and non-refundable under any circumstances, including but not limited to:

• Change of mind

• Scheduling conflicts

• Time zone misunderstandings

• Technical issues on the student’s side

• Late arrival

• Partial attendance

• Dissatisfaction after lesson completion

By completing payment, the client expressly waives any right to request a refund, reversal, reimbursement, or chargeback.

6. Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy

• A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to reschedule a lesson.

• Each lesson may be rescheduled only once.

• Rescheduling requests are subject to availability and are not guaranteed.

• If the rescheduled lesson is missed, canceled again, or requires further modification, it will be forfeited without refund.

• Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the lesson are forfeited.

• No-shows are considered completed sessions.

• Late arrivals do not extend the scheduled lesson time.

All times are based on Mexico City Time (GMT-6 / GMT-5 during daylight saving).

7. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

If a payment dispute or chargeback is initiated without prior written communication:

Spanish by Jazmin reserves the right to:

• Immediately suspend services

• Submit attendance records and communication as evidence

• Pursue recovery of disputed funds and administrative costs

Fraudulent disputes may result in legal action.

8. Intellectual Property

All lesson materials, documents, exercises, methodologies, and teaching systems are the exclusive intellectual property of Spanish by Jazmin and are protected under international copyright laws.

Clients may not:

• Record lessons without written permission

• Share meeting links

• Distribute materials

• Reproduce content

• Use materials to teach others

• Sell or publish any part of the content

Violation may result in termination without refund and possible legal action.

9. Recording Policy

Lessons may not be recorded by the client without prior written consent.

Spanish by Jazmin will not record sessions without explicit permission.

10. Technical Responsibility

The client is solely responsible for:

• Stable internet connection

• Functional equipment

• Platform access

Technical issues on the client’s side do not qualify for refunds or rescheduling.

11. Code of Conduct

Clients agree to maintain respectful and professional behavior.

Harassment or inappropriate conduct will result in immediate termination without refund.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Spanish by Jazmin shall not be liable for:

• Learning outcomes

• Academic results

• Immigration results

• Professional outcomes

• Indirect or consequential damages

Maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific lesson in dispute.

13. Privacy

Personal information (name, email, payment confirmation) is collected solely for:

• Scheduling

• Communication

• Payment processing

• Legal compliance

Information is not sold or shared for marketing purposes.

14. Termination of Services

Spanish by Jazmin reserves the right to refuse or terminate services at any time due to:

• Violation of these Terms

• Payment disputes

• Inappropriate behavior

No refund will be issued.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Mexico.

Any dispute shall be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of Mexico.

The client expressly waives jurisdiction of any other country.

16. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a lesson or making payment, the client confirms that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
